Ongame Network Vs Entraction Network

As most people interested in NoiQ Poker know, the poker room at NoiQ is part of a larger network of rooms called the Entraction Network.

This is not an uncommon situation; in fact, most of the online poker sites in the world are a part of one network or another.  There are a few sites – like PokerStars and Party Poker – that are independent, but the majority of the remaining sites belong to a network like Entraction.  So, when people are trying to find out which poker room is the best poker room, what they are actually trying to figure out in many cases is which poker network is the best network.

One of the closest networks to Entraction in terms of size, software and value is the OnGame Network.  In this article, we’re going to highlight some of the key differences between these two similar networks in order to help players choose which network is better for their poker business.

Ongame is Larger Than Entraction

How much larger?  A fair bit – certainly enough that you’d notice the increased amount of games if you compared the two lobbies.  That said, is bigger always better?  At a certain point a room has enough traffic to support the games you’re looking for, and Entraction is definitely past that point.  If you’re looking for high-stakes action, then OnGame gets the edge, but for small-to-mid-stakes players there won’t be much difference between an OnGame skin like Red Kings (learn more: Red Kings Poker review) and an Entraction site like NoiQ (learn more: NoiQ Poker Review).

Entraction Allows Rakeback, Ongame Does Not

If you care about flat rakeback deals, this is a huge difference.   There’s not much more to say about it than this: Flat rakeback is available to Entraction players while OnGame barred the practice years ago.  Both rooms do offer internal rakeback via their VIP programs.

Entraction Software Arguably Superior

This last item is a matter of personal taste to some degree, but the general consensus is that Entraction software is smoother and more stable than Ongame software.  This seems especially true given that Ongame has suffered a bit of neglect after the bWin / Party merger, with the network and software becoming somewhat redundant.

Is it close between thr two?  Sure – but in online poker, small differences over time can add up to significant differences in quite a hurry, so it’s worth learning more about each network before you make a decision.
